In November 2023, Sandpiper Lodging Trust opened the 144-room ESA Premier Suites Reno-Sparks, NV from ground-up construction, representing the Company’s first ESA Premier Suites in its portfolio. The ESA Premier serves as the Company’s second hotel in the Reno market, one of the top acquisition markets in the country. Reno-Sparks, NV is undergoing a transformation to become a major tech hub. The market is driven heavily by Tesla’s Gigafactory, a site that Tesla plans on investing an additional $3+ billion into in the coming years, as well as the presence of a Google Data Center, Switch, Panasonic, and many more large technology companies (i.e. Apple, Microsoft, etc.).
